The Institute is the new building for the Ravensbourne post-grad courses. It’s located in London’s new Design District on Greenwich Peninsula.
Using the building as a starting point, all aspects of the visual language are based on a strict grid. At the core of the identity is the monospaced typeface that we created – a perfect expression of a grid within a typeface.

The ethos behind The Institute is one of experimentation and collaboration. So we felt it was essential to design a feeling of restlessness into the typeface. We did by creating a script that randomly swaps regular letters with 'digital glitch' alternatives as you type.
