about

Bleep reimagines the dot-matrix aesthetic for contemporary typography, splitting into two distinct families – Alpha and Beta – that play with the boundaries of legibility and form.

Alpha, the more experimental of the two, takes its unconventional proportions from Bauer's Venus and Or Type's Seperat, while Beta offers a more familiar interpretation of the pixel grid. Both families push the boundaries of weight, offering five grades that progress from clear to deliberately challenging, with the boldest weight teetering at the edge of readability.

The italics take an audacious 22.5° slant, creating unexpected moments where the heavier weights fracture and break free from their pixel grid constraints, transforming mechanical precision into controlled chaos.
